Dazia Lawrence competes in Lilly Women's College All-Star Game

Dazia Lawrence had a heck of a final year of college basketball, but she got to represent Kentucky one more time in the Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game in Tampa, FL where the 2025 Final Four is located. Kenny Brooks and Georgia Amoore were in attendance to root her on.
Lawrence competed for Team [Cheryl] Miller alongside the likes of Julia Ayrault (Michigan State), Khadija Faye (Pitt), O’Mariah Gordon and Makayla Timpson (Florida State), Diamond Johnson (Norfolk State), Megan McConnell (Duquesne), Lucy Olsen (Iowa), Michelle Onyiah (Cal) and Madison Scott (Ole Miss).
Team Miller faced off against Team [Nancy] Lieberman, who was headlined by five fellow SEC stars and a familiar foe in Alyssa Ustby (North Carolina). It would be Team Miller who would end up with the 71-59 win over Team Lieberman.
Lawrence would record nine points, four rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes of play. She put her iso skills on display, even hitting a step-back jumper from deep to get her rolling offensively. Her block on the final possession led to her recording an assist on the go-ahead game-winner.

At Kentucky, the 5-foot-8 guard averaged 12.9 points per game while making 46.2% of her shots and 39% of her threes, which was good enough for fifth in the SEC. Hopefully, she showed enough so that a WNBA team considers giving her a chance this summer.
