Bam Adebayo, Wenyen Gabriel were groomsmen at De'Aaron Fox's wedding
Congratulations are in order for one of our favorite former Kentucky Wildcats. De’Aaron Fox married his longtime girlfriend Recee Caldwell on Saturday in Malibu. The two were engaged for almost two years, with Fox popping the question in September 2020 on the beach. Caldwell is also a former McDonald’s All-American point guard but retired from the game after a short stint in the WNBA. She also worked in player development with the Washington Wizards and Golden State Warriors and during the pandemic, helped Fox train, running supplemental workouts and drills. If they have a kid, something tells me it will be good at basketball.
Two of Fox’s Kentucky teammates were by his side on Saturday. Wenyen Gabriel and Bam Adebayo were both groomsmen at the wedding. Not only did Fox play with both in Lexington, he and Gabriel were teammates in Sacramento during the 2019-20 season. Gabriel is now with the Los Angeles Lakers and shared these pictures and videos from the wedding on Instagram.
