DeMarcus Cousins' comedy special coming to Amazon Prime

Each spring DeMarcus Cousins hosts a comedy event called “Boogie’s Comedy Slam” featuring several big names in standup comedy. Last year’s slam was at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, California, while Cousins was still with the Warriors, and the show was filmed for the very first time.
Now it’s coming to Amazon Prime so everyone can get in on the laughs.
Cousins announced the big news Monday afternoon, telling his followers, “CANT WAIT FOR YOU ALL TO SEE THIS SHOW EVERYONE WILL HAVE YOU ROLLING!”
It hits Amazon this Friday, July 10, with special host Mike Epps and acts from Gary Owen, Karlous Miller, Red Grant and Tony Roberts. Many of Cousins’ old teammates in Golden State were in the crowd for the show and they became part of the jokes, as seen in the new trailer:

Cousins said, “I love watching standup comedy specials. I was a huge fan and liked the Shaquille O’Neal All-Star specials and that’s kind of where I got the idea and once I kind of saw that stop, I’m like you know, maybe I should try to start my own.”
So show the former Wildcat some love by watching “Boogie’s Comedy Slam” this Friday, July 10, on Amazon Prime. It’s hosted by Mike Epps and executive produced by DeMarcus Cousins, Andrew Rogers, Jay Pardo and Joel Cardenas. It should be a good time.
