Kentucky target Demitrius Bell commits to Nebraska
The February signing day is just a week away as class of 2023 uncommitted high school recruits must be making their final decisions soon. One occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
Nashville (Tenn.) McGavock wide receiver Demitrius Bell has committed to Nebraska.
The former Michigan State commit becomes the sixth top-500 recruit to join Matt Rhule’s first signing class at Nebraska. The talented skill talent player from Middle Tennessee had a popular recruitment with Alabama and Georgia both being involved at certain points.
Kentucky hosted Bell for an official visit in October and at one point looked like the leader for the 6-0 receiver. However, a decision never came in December. This recruitment lingered and Nebraska made their move this month conducting an in-home visit with Bell. Immediately after the visit in Nashville, Nebraska hosted the high three-star recruit on campus in Lincoln for an official visit.

That should just about do it for Kentucky’s wide receiver recruiting in 2023. The Wildcats signed three high school prospects last month and currently have nine scholarship players scheduled to be on the roster when the fall semester begins.
However, things are quite done in the class of 2023. Stay tuned as the Wildcats look to close on some final targets before closing the book and moving over completely to the class of 2024.
