Nebraska is trending for 2023 WR Demitrius Bell
Most of the work is done in the 2023 recruiting cycle, but the final signing day is just two weeks away. College football programs around the country will be working to close on some of the few unsigned high school prospects remaining.
Kentucky got some very good news on Friday when high three-star tailback Jamarion Wilcox committed to the Wildcats. Vince Marrow is also recruiting high three-star lineman Woo Spencer. But a Big Ten program is currently seen as the leader for Kentucky target Demitrius Bell.
The high three-star prospect out of Nashville (Tenn.) McGavock took an unofficial visit to Lexington in April and followed it up with an official visit in October. Kentucky was long seen as a major player for the former Michigan State commit. However, Matt Rhule and his first staff at Nebraska have closed hard and fast on the top-500 recruit.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
Nebraska made the trip to see Bell for an in-home visit on Sunday and is scheduled to host Bell in Lincoln this weekend for an official visit. Expert predictions are now starting to roll in for the Cornhuskers. The Big Ten West program is on the verge of securing a big recruiting win in Middle Tennessee.
As of right now, it appears that Kentucky will close its 2023 recruiting class with three high school receivers after signing Ardell Banks, Anthony Brown, and Shamar Porter in February.
Recruiting never stops.
