Kentucky transfer Dennious Jackson commits to Colorado State

Kentucky defensive tackle Dennious Jackson was a one-and-done in Lexington after moving to the SEC from junior college. The Evans (Ga.) Lakeside product has found a new home for his redshirt junior season after entering the spring transfer portal.

Colorado State has added the UK transfer to the roster.

Dennious Jackson received offers Arkansas State, Colorado State, FIU, North Texas, South Alabama, Southern Miss, and Texas State once he became a free agent. Arkansas State, Colorado State, FIU, and Southern Miss hosted the transfer for a visit. The 6-foot-5 and 338-pound defensive ultimately decided to play for head coach Jay Norvell in the Mountain West. The Rams with an 8-5 record in 2024. Colorado State will move to the Pac-12 in 2026.

Dennious Jackson is the 13th Kentucky transfer to land at a Group of Five program this offseason.
