Kentucky is now down to four scholarship quarterbacks on the roster following Brock Vandagriff‘s departure from the program. The transfer portal winter window officially closed on Saturday but decisions are still being made. A former Kentucky quarterback found a new home on Saturday.

Destin Wade went one-and-done at Colorado. The class of 2022 prospect has landed at North Alabama. The former four-star recruit will spend his redshirt junior year in the FCS.

Destin Wade spent two seasons at Kentucky before transferring to Colorado. The dual-threat quarterback earned one start during his time in Lexington occurring in the Music City Bowl at the end of the 2022 season. Destin and his twin brother, Keaten, left UK to play for Coach Prime in 2024. Destin Wade appeared in one game for the Buffs this season. Keaten Wade finished the year with 20 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, and 10 pressures in just 105 defensive snaps. The EDGE player should play a big role for Colorado in 2025.
