Devin Booker is the all-time scoring leader of the Phoenix Suns
A former Kentucky basketball standout is now a Phoenix Suns legend, Devin Booker permanently placing his name in the history books as the franchise’s all-time leading scorer.
Knocking down a 3-pointer with 7:34 to go in the third quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers, the superstar guard broke the record previously set by Walter Davis with 15,666 points. Booker scored 34 total to give him 15,678 for his 10-year career in 642 total games.
The best part? His record-breaking bucket came off an assist from Nick Richards.

It was an emotional moment for the 28-year-old who was drafted No. 13 overall in the 2015 NBA Draft.
“It means everything,” Booker said. “Just being drafted to a franchise that believed in me, taking a chance on me as an 18-year-old kid and going through a rebuild phase and just sticking with it. Keeping my head down. The love and support has always been there. I don’t take it from granted. I take it seriously putting ‘Phoenix’ across my chest.”

“The city loves Devin,” Suns coach Mike Budenholzer said. “… He’s the all-time leading scorer for the Phoenix Suns. He’s our guy. He’s special. A really, really special night for Book.”
Booker is a four-time NBA All-Star and two-time All-NBA talent after a one-and-done season at Kentucky. In 38 games in Lexington, the 6-6 guard averaged 10.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists en route to SEC Sixth Man of the Year and All-SEC Second Team honors.
Now, he’s the all-time leading scorer of the Phoenix Suns.
