Devin Booker, Jamal Murray will also participate in NBA All-Star Weekend
Get ready to watch two more Cats during NBA All-Star Weekend. Tonight, the league announced that Devin Booker will participate in the Three-Point Contest and Jamal Murray will compete in the Skills Challenge. Both events will take place during State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on February 17 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
This will be Booker’s second time competing in the Three-Point Contest after advancing to the championship round in 2016 as a rookie. He’ll go up against last year’s winner Eric Gordon of Houston, Washington’s Bradley Beal, Miami’s Wayne Ellington, Oklahoma City’s Paul George, LA’s Tobias Harris, Toronto’s Kyle Lowry and Golden State’s Klay Thompson.

In the Skills Challenge, Murray will go up against defending champion and 2018 NBA All-Star forward Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks), All-Star centers Joel Embiid (76ers) and Al Horford (Celtics), guard Spencer Dinwiddie (Nets), forward Lauri Markkanen (Bulls), guard Donovan Mitchell (Jazz), and guard Lou Williams (LA Clippers). On Friday night, he’ll also participate in the Rising Stars Challenge, an event in which he won MVP honors last year.

Of course, Anthony Davis and Karl Towns will be playing in the main event Sunday night, meaning that on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you can watch former Cats in the league’s premiere event. Not too shabby.
