Dez Bryant (yes, that Dez Bryant) says Kentucky is going to the Final Four
Feeling down about Kentucky‘s chances to make a run in March? Dez Bryant wants you to keep the faith.
Yes, that Dez Bryant. The one who played for the Dallas Cowboys, three 1,000-yard seasons and three Pro Bowls, all of it. He’s a believer in the Cats.
Why? Well, I really don’t know. He tweeted it the day after Kentucky’s buzzer-beating loss at LSU, but lumped this group in with UConn and Houston as his Final Four contenders.
“Random thought,” Bryant wrote. “Kentucky, UConn, Houston and one of those small schools will be in the final four this year!”
As you can probably imagine, someone asked the former NFL standout why he was so high on the Cats, who earned their eighth loss of the year in Baton Rouge this week. His response? Just good vibes, more or less. The energy is good and confidence is high.

That translates to March success, obviously.
“I like Kentucky energy and aggressiveness on the offensive side and defensive side,” he responded. “I don’t think nobody playing more confident than Kentucky or Houston right now.”
To hell with your No. 6 seed, Joe Lunardi. If Dez Bryant says Kentucky is going on a run, Kentucky is going on a run. Why would he lie to you?
We’ll see you in Phoenix, BBN. Dez says so.
