Different perspective on last night's game...

Is Chapman really that far off with this opinion though? To me, the outcome of last night's game was somewhat bizarre.  The result--a loss--wasn't the strange part.  Rather, it is the fact that I believe Kentucky outplayed a veteran Florida team for the better part of the game and still managed to lose by (an artificially inflated) ten points.  While I don't think last night was the best game Kentucky has played all year, I do think that the loss is being blown out of proportion. With two minutes left in the game, Kentucky was still in a position to win against a team that is undoubtedly one of the nation's best. I certainly did not leave the game thinking, "those guys were clearly better than us." With six games left in the regular season, and March just around the corner, there obviously is no more room to point to what this team is going to become somewhere down the road--there isn't much road left to travel.  I'm not ready to say that this team needs many more miles to get to where they need to be to make the NCAA tournament exciting for Kentucky fans. Is Rex Chapman wrong in thinking last night's game was the best we have played all year? I think so--but I don't disagree with his thought that the game was encouraging.  What about you?
