It’s still soup season for DJ Wagner. The Kentucky freshman guard announced a new NIL deal yesterday with Campbell’s. In the video posted on Instagram, Wagner receives a shipment of Campbell’s soup and swag, which he unpacks for the camera.

“I’m so excited to partner with Campbell’s, but what am I gonna do with all this soup?” Wagner asks, surrounded by microwave-ready packs of Chicken Noodle. “So much soup. So much soup. What do I do with all this?”

The commercial isn’t quite Reed and Rob for Donato’s level of awkwardness, but it’s pretty delightful. I can’t wait to see what he does with all that soup in part two. Hopefully, the rooms at the team’s hotel in Nashville have microwaves.

This is just the latest NIL deal for Wagner. Last week, he was announced as an Express style ambassador, repping the clothing brand in social media campaigns. He also has deals with Lex Exotics, Marathon, and Nike.

Wagner is No. 15 in On3’s college basketball NIL rankings, one of six Kentucky Wildcats in the Top 50. Rob Dillingham is the highest, coming in at No. 10, followed by Wagner (No. 15), Justin Edwards (No. 16), Aaron Bradshaw (No. 20), Reed Sheppard (No. 37), and Antonio Reeves (No. 42). When all is said and done, I have a feeling Reed will be the highest of them all.
