DJ Wagner partnering with Express as style ambassador
Add another NIL deal to DJ Wagner‘s portfolio heading into March Madness. The Kentucky freshman is one of four college basketball players to partner with Express as style ambassadors. Wagner, Tyrese Proctor (North Carolina), and women’s basketball stars Jacy Sheldon (Ohio) and Kaia Henderson (Ohio) will be featured in Express’ social media campaigns from now through April.
Wagner and Proctor are modeling Express’ Perfect Pima line. In a release, Express says Wagner and the other three ambassadors embody the Express brand mission of building confidence through personal style.

“To me, confidence just means believing in yourself no matter what you do, whether that’s sports, or dressing up, just having faith in yourself,” Wagner said of the campaign.
Here are some more shots from the campaign, including, maybe, an NBA Draft night suit?
This is just the latest NIL deal for Wagner, who also partners with Lex Exotics, Marathon, and Nike. His On3 NIL Valuation is $560,000, which ranks No. 14 in college basketball. Six Kentucky Wildcats rank in the Top 100 of On3’s college basketball NIL rankings, the highest being Rob Dillingham at No. 10. Once all is said and done, I bet Reed Sheppard will be way up there as well.
