KSR’s Jack Pilgrim is currently sitting courtside among all of the coaches and scouts at the Riverview Park Activities Center for Friday night’s Peach Jam action, a schedule that included one of the marquee matchups of the entire event.

In the 6:30 PM game, future Kentucky Wildcat guard Rob Dillingham went head-to-head with a player we hope is a future Kentucky Wildcat, DJ Wagner, in a meeting of the top-ranked guards in the Class of 2023. Also in the mix, Wagner’s high school teammate and fellow Kentucky target Aaron Bradshaw co-headlined the NJ Scholars with Wagner. Across the way, Dillingham had No. 1 overall player GG Jackson by his side in a CP3 uniform. Jackson is headed to the Southeastern Conference as the South Carolina Gamecocks’ prized blue-chip recruit.

As for how things went down in the game, Jack will be by later to share what he saw as a spectator on the scene. In the meantime, the official box score from the game reveals Dillingham came out on top of the run-in with Wagner as CP3 beat the NJ Scholars, 77-65.

Let’s pretend for a moment that AAU box scores matter… Dillingham had 15 points on 16 shots from the field and missed all three of his 3-point tries. Wagner needed 20 attempts for his 13 points in the loss. Bradshaw had 12 points and seven rebounds.

Aden Holloway, a four-star Auburn target, led all scorers with 19.
