Kentucky target D'Juan Waller Jr. commits to Michigan

Kentucky and Michigan have gone head-to-head a few times during the Mark Stoops era on the recruiting trail. On Sunday night, the Wolverines got a nice recruiting win when D’Juan Waller Jr. committed to Jim Harbaugh’s program.
Former Kentucky assistant coach Steve Clinkscale recorded a recruiting win in Ohio for the Big Ten powerhouse program.
“Coach Clink was really good and really upfront,” Waller told The Wolverine. ”He’s not going to sugar coat anything. He’s not going to tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear. Coach Clink is a real guy, you know. I love it.”

D’Juan Waller Jr. is a three-star recruit in the class of 2023, Vince Marrow got to head back to his hometown to recruit the Youngstown (Ohio) Chaney product. However, the former Toledo commit saw a quick rise in his recruiting profile thanks to a big senior year. Despite getting Waller on campus in Lexington for an official visit during the Louisville game on Thanksgiving weekend, it wasn’t enough to beat the Wolverines.
Now the 6-foot-3 defensive back will continue his playing career in Ann Arbor joining Chaney teammate and fellow Kentucky target Jason Hewlett at the University of Michigan.
