At every Olympics, celebrities are made. In Beijing, it was Michael Phelps, in 2012 it was Gabby Douglas; now it seems like Katie Ledecky will cement her place in Olympic history and American celebrity.
But in this case, one of the millions of American couch potatoes, not an athlete, that tune in for the games is making headlines for her Olympic performance. Leslie Jones is live-tweeting the Olympics from home, and she's being so enthusiastically/patriotically hilarious, that NBC has invited the SNL/new Ghostbusters actress to Rio to help cover the games.
