Who up Turkey?

Former Kentucky shooting guard Doron Lamb is taking his talents to the Middle East. Eurobasket reports Lamb has signed to play for Darussafaka Istanbul. Last year the team finished sixth out of 16 in the country’s top basketball league.

Lamb most recently spent two seasons in Greece, playing against Rick Pitino’s team in the country’s top league. He earned Honorable Mention all-league honors after averaging 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

Istanbul, Turkey isn’t exactly the safest place in the world, just ask Enes Kanter. It’s quite a bit different than New Orleans, the site where Lamb led UK in scoring in the 2012 National Championship game.
