Drake also gave the Kentucky Women's Basketball team shoes
By now, you’ve probably seen the video of John Calipari and the Kentucky Basketball team opening up their special gifts from Drake, new Nike NOCTA Glide sneakers. The video has been viewed over 85,000 times on Twitter and is making the rounds on the shoe and hip-hop blogs. The fun continued at the Joe Craft Center early this morning when John Calipari crashed Kentucky Women’s Basketball’s practice with new Nike NOCTA Glides for the ladies from the famous rapper.
“My good friend came out with that shoe,” Calipari says in a video posted on social media. “That shoe, and you saw that I gave it to my guys yesterday but I couldn’t forget about the ladies.”
“So let me tell you, I know you think I did this. I didn’t. He made sure, Drake did, he said, ‘I’m sending them to your team but I want the women to get them too.’ So, they were from him personally. Not from me, but he wanted me to deliver them. Not really. I wanted to deliver them.”

Calipari modeled one of the items, a very cool letter jacket, in his office a few weeks back:
Speaking of clothes, in case you missed it last night, Aaron Bradshaw was sporting a “Louisville Doesn’t Exist” shirt. One of us.
