After adding multiple offensive line players in the transfer portal, Kentucky saw some more attrition last week. Dylan Ray started 12 games during his two-year stint in Lexington and entered the free agent market with some value.

The former West Virginia walk-on did not stay in the portal long. Dylan Ray entered on Wednesday and exited on Saturday with a commitment to Minnesota.

Dylan Ray transferred to Kentucky after the 2022 season and played 1,032 snaps over the last two seasons for the Wildcats. The Greater Indianapolis native is now headed to the Big Ten for his final season of eligibility after spending time in the Big 12 and SEC.

Minnesota and Kentucky have continually crossed path in the transfer portal this offseason. The Gophers made a push for USC transfer Sam Greene before he committed to Kentucky. Illinois State transfer Steven Curtis was linked to both program before committing during his official visit in Minneapolis.

Dylan Ray is the sixth former Kentucky player to land at a power conference program after entering the transfer portal.
