11 former Kentucky players prepare for the NFL Playoffs
This season featured 23 former Kentucky players getting playing time on an NFL field and an additional five holding down spots on a team’s practice squad. Some had better years than others. On the positive side, rookie cornerback, Dru Phillips shined for the Giants and Ray Davis finished the regular season with six touchdowns for the Bills. On the other end of the spectrum, the Commanders cut former first-round pick Jamin Davis midseason and Will Levis faltered in his first year as the Titans’ starting quarterback.
It now all filters down to 11 former Wildcats across nine teams who made the playoffs and have a chance to win a Super Bowl ring, one of the most prized trophies an athlete can wear on their finger.
The action starts this weekend with six Wildcard games.
