EJ Montgomery is on the Bucks' Summer League Roster

EJ Montgomery will get another crack at the NBA, this time he’s back with the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks. Montgomery will join the Bucks summer league roster for 2021. He’s one of 14 former Wildcats to make a Summer League Roster.

 

Montgomery made the decision to leave UK after his sophomore season in 2019-20, which saw his final moment end with a tip-in against Florida to cap off Kentucky’s season with a win before COVID stopped that team in its tracks.

After that Montgomery signed with the Bucks after going undrafted until he was waived on December 17th. Earlier this year he played in Lithuania.

Other notable former ‘Cats include Kentucky’s two draft picks this year- Isaiah Jackson and BJ Boston, Olivier Sarr, Brandon Knight, and Ashton Hagans will get another shot after being released from the Timberwolves in 2020. Here’s the full Kentucky Summer League roster:
