Eric Bledsoe arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence
Last night, a report came out that Eric Bledsoe signed with the Shanghai Sharks in the Chinese Basketball Association. Hours later, he was arrested for allegedly slapping his girlfriend.
According to TMZ Sports, officers responded to Bledsoe’s residence in Lost Hills, California after receiving a call around 11:13 p.m. from a woman claiming she was slapped by her boyfriend. After an investigation, police arrested Bledsoe for misdemeanor domestic violence. He was booked and is now out on bond. TMZ Sports also has details on a post from Bledsoe’s girlfriend’s Instagram account that has since been deleted.
A photo was posted to Bledsoe’s girlfriend’s Instagram account after the incident … appearing to show a red mark on her face. The caption said, “NO RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS IS EVER WORTH STAYING IN.”
The woman added … “Domestic violence is real! This wasn’t the first time but I sat here and stayed so it’s my fault!!”

Bledsoe has spent the last 12 years in the NBA playing for four different franchises: the Phoenix Suns (five seasons), Los Angeles Clippers (four seasons), Milwaukee Bucks (three seasons), and New Orleans Pelicans (one season). He was the No. 18 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft after spending one season at Kentucky, where he was named to the SEC All-Rookie Team as part of John Calipari’s first recruiting class in Lexington.
