Eric Bledsoe traded to Portland, his fourth NBA team in three seasons
Eric Bledsoe is on the move, again. The former Kentucky Wildcat is officially achieving “journeyman” status after this most recent trade.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Clippers are trading Eric Bledsoe, Justise Winslow, Keon Johnson and future second-round pick to the Trail Blazers for Norman Powell and Robert Covington.
Bledsoe was Giannis Antetokounmpo’s righthand man for 2.5 seasons in Milwaukee. The Bucks traded Bledsoe to New Orleans to bring in Jrue Holiday, a move that worked so well, the Bucks brought a championship back to Milwaukee.

After one season in the Big Easy, Bledsoe signed with the team that drafted him back in 2010. He started in 29 of the Clippers’ 54 games this season, averaging 9.9 points and 4.2 assists in 25.2 minutes per game. Now he’ll serve in a reserve role behind Damian Lillard in Portland, his fourth team in the last three seasons.
Here’s to hoping Bledsoe finds some stability with the Trail Blazers as the 32-year old reaches the twilight of his lengthy NBA career.
