Eric C. Conn was caught at a Pizza Hut in Honduras

Last night, police in Honduras finally caught Eric C. Conn, but you’ll never guess where.
During a press conference today, the FBI said the Technical Agency for Criminal Investigation (ATIC) apprehended Conn while he was eating dinner at a Pizza Hut in La Cieba, a tourist town on the Caribbean coast of Honduras. Conn apparently came without incident, and is now in FBI custody on his way back to Lexington.
Conn has been on the run since June after escaping house arrest for defrauding the Social Security system of more than $550 million. Later that month, he sent emails to several Kentucky news outlets taunting the FBI for not catching him, and in July, was spotted in New Mexico but evaded authorities once again. Because he broke his plea deal by escaping, he could face life in prison.
Hope that pizza was good.
