Following Damian Lillard's 59 points last night, it sets a new NBA record for the most players to have such performances in a season. Out of the ten players to score 50+ points in a game, four of them are former Kentucky Wildcats. Devin Booker - 70 points vs. Celtics, 03/24/2017 DeMarcus Cousins - 55 points vs. Trailblazer, 12/20/2016 John Wall - 52 points vs. Magic, 12/6/2016 Anthony Davis - 50 points vs. Nuggets, 10/26/2016 And just because he was 3 points shy of reaching 50+ points, Karl Anthony Towns - 47 points vs. Knicks, 11/30/2016 Want to guess how many Tarheels, Cardinals, Blue Devils, or Jayhawks that have had that kind of offensive performance this season? The answer is zero.
