ESPN released its final preseason bowl projections and UK football fans better get ready to spend Christmas in Louisiana if the predictions come true.
The masterminds behind the picks--Mark Schlabach and Brett McMurphy--predict Kentucky to the
Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana. That's a December 26th,
day-after-Christmas contest with North Carolina at 5:45 pm on ESPN.
Kentucky is one of 13 SEC teams projected to go bowling from the SEC, leaving only Vanderbilt behind from postseason play.
I can get down with Shreveport.
One problem: UK hosts Louisville in basketball that day.
