ESPN's updated 2025 NBA Draft Big Board includes 5 Kentucky players
Kentucky’s streak of producing a first-round NBA Draft pick is likely to end this summer, but that doesn’t mean a handful of Wildcats won’t wind up in the big leagues this time next year.
On Saturday morning, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony updated his Top 100 prospect rankings for the 2025 NBA Draft. A total of five current Wildcats were included on the list, although none of them ranked higher than 60th. This year’s NBA Draft will feature 59 total picks across the two rounds. UK has seen a former player drafted in the first round dating back to 2010, John Calipari‘s first season as head coach.
ESPN’s Top 100 2025 NBA Draft Big Board
- No. 60 | SG/SF Koby Brea (Age: 22.1)
- No. 75 | C Amari Williams (Age: 22.9)
- No. 78 | SG/SF Jaxson Robinson (Age: 22.1)
- No. 91 | PF/C Andrew Carr (Age: 22.9)
- No. 92 | SG Otega Oweh (Age: 21.5)
This group of Wildcats is a bit different than the one ESPN mentioned back in early December. At the time, only four Kentucky players cracked the Top 100. Carr and Williams were included after not making the list last time while Garrison was removed after being ranked No. 81 in the previous update. Elsewhere, Brea dropped three spots (previously No. 57) and Oweh dropped 16 spots (No. 76) while Robinson shot up 21 spots from No. 99.
The most surprising ranking here, in this writer’s opinion, is Williams going from unranked all the way up to No. 75. Since ESPN’s last Big Board update on Dec. 10, Williams has averaged 9.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.2 blocks in just 21 minutes per outing on 58.2 percent shooting across nine games played. His playmaking ability as a seven-foot, 260-pound center is a skillset the NBA values right now — even without an outside shooting threat.

Brea’s three-point shooting is why NBA front offices value his talents. He’s averaging 11.2 points per game this season while shooting an SEC-best 47.2 percent from deep. Robinson has been up and down this season but has shown plenty of pro potential over the last few games. Oweh’s stock took a slide in this update from ESPN, but he continues to flash NBA-level skills. And lastly with Carr, he’s similar to Williams in that he can space the floor with his passing, but he’s also a respected shooter.
Other notable non-Kentucky names on ESPN’s Top 100 Big Board include: Arkansas wing Adou Thiero (No. 23), Illinois wing Will Riley (No. 28), Arkansas guard Boogie Fland (No. 32), Tennessee guard Chaz Lanier (No. 43), Auburn center Johni Broome (No. 53), and Arkansas center Zvonimir Ivisic (No. 55).
