We’re knee deep in 2021 mock drafts, but ESPN’s Jonathan Givony is already looking ahead to the next crop of pro prospects. It’s very, very early and the 2021-22 roster still isn’t complete, but Givony doesn’t have a single Kentucky Wildcat in his 2022 two-round mock draft. Not even Daimion Collins, a top 10 recruit in the 2021 class, or any of the other signees or members of the current roster.

2021 guard TyTy Washington, who has Kentucky in his final six, is projected to go No. 13, another sign his stock is on the rise after an impressive showing at the GEICO Nationals. Future Duke Blue Devil Paolo Banchero is No. 1, Gonzaga commit Chet Holmgren No. 2, undecided 2021 combo guard Jaden Hardy No. 3, undecided 2021 forward Patrick Baldwin No. 8, Tennessee signee Kennedy Chandler No. 10, and Mississippi State guard Iverson Molinar No. 50. You can see the entire list here.

As mentioned, we’re well over a year until the 2022 draft, but seeing a mock without a Kentucky player on it is very surreal. The last time a Kentucky player wasn’t drafted was 2007. I can’t imagine that will happen next summer, but as this year proved, stranger things have happened. I’m going to comfort myself with Daimion Collins highlights.
