Evan Daniels hired as college basketball agent

Evan Daniels is hanging up his recruiting boots in favor of becoming an agent.
This afternoon, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news that Creative Artists Agency LLC, one of the most influential sports agencies in the nation, has hired Daniels as an agent in its college basketball coaching division.
“CAA is hiring Evan Daniels to become an agent in its college basketball coaching division,” Wojnarowski reported. “Daniels will work with agents Jimmy Sexton and Spencer Breecker.”

Daniels, who has served as 247Sports’ Director of Basketball Recruiting since 2017, has been an influential voice in basketball recruiting for well over a decade and is currently seen as the most well-connected insider in the game. Outside of his role at 247, Daniels has also served as the college basketball insider at Fox Sports & FS1 since 2016, with the former producing his basketball podcast, The Sidelines with Evan Daniels.
The recruiting veteran has long been a voting member on the USA Basketball Developmental committee and the McDonald’s All-American Game.

Now, Daniels is set to join CAA, which represents many of the most influential creators, performers, athletes, and brands around the world. As of today, CAA Sports clients include the likes of John Calipari, Zion Williamson, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, Andrew Wiggins, and Tony Romo, among numerous others.
Instead of breaking the latest scoop in the world of basketball recruiting, Daniels will now turn his attention to signing the biggest names in college basketball.
