Fan submissions for KSR's new promotional UK logo

Welp, we can’t use official UK logos anymore. A call was made to cease and/or desist the use of copyrighted property, in this case the UK logo and other UK/JMI-owned imagery.
Matt Jones shared the news of the conversation Thursday afternoon:
UK (through JMI) just called KSR and told us to stop using UK logo on any game coverage stuff we do because it was infringing on their copyright
When the team we love is all 7-13, and we are still covering them and pulling for them, this is the thing they focus upon.
🙄🙄🙄

Difficulties, we have still promoted every major UK event and are the loudest voice nationwide about all things UK sports
In a time of declining attendance and fan frustration, the idea that coming after KSR would be a good decision showcases a complete disconnect from reality

But that’s OK because KSR’s talented audience already extended a helping hand with ideas for logos we can use instead. We have our own creative art department within Big Blue Nation and it responded quickly with new mock logos for the future of our logo usage beyond KSR’s game coverage.
Like this one, a cake that looks kind of like a UK logo but missed its mark. (Submitted by @tprobus)
Or this one, the flag of the United Kingdom. (@TruthfulBurns)
Or this one, a nod to the old Wildcat tongue from the early 90s. (@75toRupp)
Speaking of the infamous tongue logo, word on the web is the original trademark expired. (@KySportsRadio)

Several people suggested Houston’s logo since Kentucky’s looks like that one anyway:
My personal favorite is this masterpiece, a real-life version of the Wildcat logo. (@jasoncarney11)
These are fun, but we all know what the real logo should be forever and always. Too bad it’s collecting dust in an attic somewhere:
