FCS All-American EDGE transfer Mi'Quise Grace arrives for Kentucky visit

One of the best available players in the transfer portal has arrived in Lexington.
South Dakota transfer EDGE Mi’Quise Grace is currently in town for an official visit with the Kentucky Wildcats. A 6-foot-4, 255-pound redshirt sophomore out of Cincinnati (OH) Princeton, Grace is considered a Top 100 player and a Top 10 EDGE prospect according to On3’s portal rankings. He was named the Missouri Valley Defensive Player of the Year and an FCS First-Team All-American in 2024.
Grace finished this past season with 64 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and three pass breakups. He’s being recruited to the ‘Cats by associate head coach Vince Marrow.
Kentucky isn’t the only school after Grace though. Southern California, Mississippi State, and Cincinnati are in line to host him for visits while the likes of Texas A&M and Oklahoma are also in the mix. UK’s goal will be to lock him up before any of those visits can take place. Grace is friends with multiple players on the current Kentucky roster.

Doubling as a track and field athlete in high school, Grace committed to South Dakota in Jan. 2021. He competed in just four games as a true freshman with three tackles. As a redshirt freshman in 2023, he appeared in all 13 games including one start, finishing with 34 tackles on the season. His breakout campaign came in 2024 as he helped lead his team to a spot in the FCS Championship semifinals.
If Kentucky were to seal the deal, Grace would be one of the biggest portal additions of the offseason for the ‘Cats.
