Film Room: Cameron Miller
National Signing Day is always good for a surprise or two. The early signing period has taken some of that away but this cycle was more chaotic with the new calendar. Kentucky has gotten out the spatula a bunch during the 2025 cycle and did it again on Wednesday.
Atco (N.J.) Winslow Township Cameron Miller decommitted from Wisconsin on Tuesday and completed the flip by signing with Kentucky on Wednesday. The top-500 prospect has been a long-standing target for Kentucky and made it on campus during the spring semester. However, a commitment to Wisconsin arrived in May before official visit season. The recruitment never ended despite the commitment.
The firing of offensive coordinator Phil Longo in November seemingly opened the door for the Cats. Miller became the fifth wide receiver to join the Kentucky’s 2025 recruiting class. What will the former Big Ten commit bring to Lexington?
Cameron Miller recorded 97 receptions for 1,997 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior/senior as a slot receiver with turbo speed.
Playmaking juice
Cameron Miller is one of the smallest players on the field when you turn on the tape, but you quickly forget about that once the ball is snapped. The high three-star prospect is extremely explosive and that immediately jumps out.

BOR meeting sparks speculation
Miller gets to top gear quickly and can chase down almost anything in the air.
The straight line speed is impressive but there is also change of direction and the ability to create missed tackles.
The Kentucky signee brings legitimate playmaking juice to the table and has a chance create an explosive plays whenever he touches the rock.
There are size concerns but the potential is tantalizing
Cameron Miller is listed at 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds. The weight seems very close to accurate but the height might be stretching it. Kentucky’s newest wide receiver will be the smallest player on the field at the next level but also might always be the most explosive.
The New Jersey native is a big-play generator with excellent acceleration who can create separation and make plays vertically down the field. There could be some boom-or-bust nature with the slot receiver but this is a player than can absolutely fly and potential tilt a defense. Finding ways to get bigger defenders off of him could be a challenge, but you can understand why you would want him to be a part of your offense.
Kentucky went into the Mid-Atlantic and found a unique talent to add to the wide receiver position.
