WATCH: The Firecrackers bring more thrills on fun day at Rupp
It was an exciting night at Rupp Arena, as No. 17 Kentucky knocked off No. 13 Alabama 117-95. In a battle of two of the nation’s top three offenses, the Cats delivered, coming up just one point shy of the single-game scoring record in the John Calipari era. It was a feel-good night, with Justin Edwards and Zvonimir Ivisic setting career highs and the Cats notching a very big win coming off a disappointing loss at LSU.
The fun didn’t stop at halftime. The Firecrackers made their annual trip to Lexington, performing at halftime much to the delight of the Big Blue Nation. The youth jump roping team has been coming to Rupp for over 20 years and tonight’s performance did not disappoint. Steven Peake was on the floor to capture it all. Enjoy.
