Five College Football Bets To Make Over At MyBookie

Later tonight, college football will give us a small appetizer to Saturday with two games to bet over at MyBookie, the online betting partner of KSR. In the big Friday night game, two former titans fight to matter in the ACC again when Louisville and Florida State play in a game fit for several years ago. We are absolutely betting on that one. Then in the not-so-big game, the Ivy League will be on display at Harvard Stadium with Merrimack stepping up from the FCS. We are absolutely betting that one too.

Here are five of KSR’s favorites over at MyBookie, where promo code KSR doubles your deposit.

Florida State (-2.5) @ Louisville

The Friday Night Lights are shining over the house that Papa John built where here in a couple of hours Louisville hosts Florida State in Cardinal Stadium. Over at MyBookie, the Cards are getting 2.5 points as home dogs but that’s not enough for a Scott Satterfield-coached team in my unexpert opinion. Florida State doesn’t have a loss to Syracuse on its resume and the Seminoles had a week to rest after beating LSU in New Orleans. Throw in my hatred of Louisville and my money is on Florida State to win and cover the spread, hopefully by a lot. Let’s see how Malik Cunningham handles some pressure.

Merrimack (+28) @ Harvard

Because it’s the only other Friday night game on the board, we have to bet Harvard-Merrimack and with a number that big, let’s take the Warriors (I Googled it) to stay within four touchdowns. Tonight is the season-opener for Harvard so maybe QB Charlie Dean and the Harvard offense will take a while to get going. Across the way, Merrimack has played twice already; a loss to Holy Cross and then a 45-17 bounce-back win versus Assumption. Don’t let Merrimack get hot.

Georgia (-24.5) @ South Carolina

One of my Pick 3 plays this week, I like the ‘Dawgs to silence Sandstorm at South Carolina with a blowout win of the Gamecocks. It’s a huge number for an SEC road game, but it’s been a rough start for Spencer Rattler and Carolina’s defense lost two key starters to season-ending ACL injuries last Saturday. Meanwhile, Georgia’s defense has only allowed a field goal this year, and Stetson Bennett has thrown for over 300 yards in each of the first two games for the offense. It helps to have three of the best tight ends in the country. UGA by a lot.

Indiana-Western Kentucky Under 61

Another one for the noon slate: Western Kentucky +6.5 appeared twice on the Pick 3 this week, but in this exercise we are looking at the under because this game won’t be what it was a year ago when Michael Penix Jr. and Bailey Zappe threw for 373 and 365 in a 33-31 Indiana victory. Under 61, please. And go ‘Tops.

Miami (+6.5) @ Texas A&M

Oh look, yet another road team! That makes four of four. Let’s go down to College Station where God knows what is being said at yell practice tonight, and tomorrow the Aggies have a must-win game after last weekend’s shocking upset to App State. But it appears Jimbo Fisher has a real QB problem on his hands and Miami’s pass rush might bring enough to further expose those issues and give Jimbo a second straight home loss. At 6.5 points, I’ll take ’em with the Canes.
