Way back before he was lying and cheating and losing recruits to John Calipari, a young Rick Pitino took over the head coaching job at Boston University. Then an up-and-coming 25-year-old, Pitino took the Terriers to the NCAA tournament for the first time in 24 years. He stuck around from 1979 to 1983 before leaving for the New York Knicks. Tonight, that same Boston University will take on your University of Kentucky Wildcats, another basketball program Pitino saved. His stamp is all over this game, and I'm not sure I like that. Beat Boston.
