Florida OL transfer Jalen Farmer is currently on an official visit to Kentucky
Jalen Farmer was close to landing at Kentucky out of high school. He ultimately committed to the Florida Gators but put his name into the transfer portal after two seasons in Gainesville. The offensive lineman is now taking an official visit to Kentucky.
KSR can confirm that Farmer is currently in Lexington for an official visit, which began on Friday. The news was first reported by Volquest. Farmer, a redshirt freshman who clocks in at 6-foot-5, 310 pounds, took an official visit to Tennessee earlier this week. Volquest also reports that, after his trip to Kentucky wraps up, Farmer will begin to sit down and come to a final decision soon.

Out of Covington (GA) Eastside High School, Farmer was rated as the No. 638 overall recruit in the 2022 class by the On3 Industry Ranking. He received an offer from former Kentucky offensive line coach Eric Wolford back in Oct. 2021 (after he was already committed to Florida) and even took an official visit to Lexington shortly after. But once Wolford took the offensive line coaching job at Alabama, the Wildcats’ chances at flipping Farmer shrunk.
Fast forward two years later, and Kentucky is once again back in contention with Tennessee as the Wildcats’ top competition.
