Florida's Todd Golden facing sexual harassment and stalking accusations
One of the rising coaches in the SEC is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct with numerous women accusing Florida head coach Todd Golden of harassment and stalking.
According to Title IX documents obtained by The Independent Florida Alligator, the University of Florida’s student newspaper, Golden received a formal complaint on September 27 alleging behavior that includes sexual exploitation, unwanted sexual advances on social media, requesting sexual favors, sending photos and videos of his genitalia and stalking. These accusations come from UF students dating back over a year.
The documents accuse Golden of “taking photos of women walking or driving and sending those pictures to the subjects involved,” according to The Alligator, along with “showing up to locations where he knew the women would be.”
Two separate women confirmed the misconduct to The Alligator, accusing the Florida head coach of stalking one in person via car and on foot “more than 10 times” while also sending unsolicited photos of his genitalia to her while the basketball team was traveling on the road.

“At first, it starts off slow, like, ‘Oh, wow. That’s odd. This guy is showing us attention,’” the first woman told The Alligator. “And then it becomes, ‘Wow, he’s kind of crossing a line. No, he didn’t mean it that way.’ Then it’s, ‘Wait, he’s fully stepping over that line.’ And then it’s, ‘Wow, there’s a picture of his d*ck.’ It was a full grooming process with all of us.”
The report also alleges Florida Special Assistant Ralphie Ferrari and Director of Basketball Strategy and Analytics Jonathan Safir were aware of Golden’s behavior, as well, adding that it’s a culture issue within the coaching staff.
