Former Kentucky WBB guard Saniah Tyler commits to Missouri

Saniah Tyler was one of the two leftovers from the Kyra Elzy era that stayed at Kentucky for a year under Kenny Brooks. However, she recently entered the transfer portal. Now, she has a new home. Well, kind of.
The former Kentucky guard announced on social media that she has committed to Kellie Harper and the Missouri Tigers, returning to her home state for one last ride.
Tyler averaged just 2.3 points points per game on 28.6% shooting from three-point range as a junior. The year prior, she saw a massive spike in production, recording 10.2 points per game while knocking down 34.5% of her shots from deep.

She only scored in double figures one time this season — putting up 11 on 3-4 shooting from deep in the 88-70 win over WKU on December 28th. Unfortunately, Tyler struggled to find her groove in Brooks’ system, but she’ll get the opportunity to take on a bigger role in her home state under a coach with a lot of success in her past.
Best of luck, ST!
