Former Kentucky OL Logan Stenberg Joins Gameday Coverage
There’s been a little shake-up in Kentucky football pregame coverage. This fall a familiar face is returning to Lexington, Logan Stenberg.
Stenberg will join the official UK pregame show alongside Christi Thomas and former Kentucky defensive lineman Jeremy Jarmon. Countdown to Kickoff takes over for the KSR Pregame Show two hours before kickoff on the UK Sports Network.
A three-star prospect from Alabama, Stenberg was the nastiest player on one of the most dominant offensive lines in Kentucky football history. He started in 39-straight games from 2017-2019, paving the way for Benny Snell to set the school’s all-time rushing record while capping off a 10-win campaign in 2018. The following year, the Wildcats set multiple single-game rushing records as Lynn Bowden transitioned from wide receiver to quarterback. Even though opponents knew Kentucky was running the ball, they couldn’t stop Bowden and the Big Blue Wall.
Stenberg was a First Team All-SEC selection and a Second Team All-American as a senior. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. After an injury-riddled three seasons in Detroit, last fall he spent some time on the practice squads of the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Bucs before hanging up his pads for good.
