Former Kentucky Wildcat Jaremiah Anglin Transfers to Pitt
It feels like deja vu all over again. For the second time in three years, a former four-star Kentucky defensive back is leaving the program to transfer to Pitt.
Jaremiah Anglin announced on Sunday afternoon that he is making the move to the ACC to play for Pat Narduzzi’s program in Pittsburgh. Even though his time in Lexington was brief, it was noteworthy.
Also known by the moniker “Grady Judd,” Anglin was the No. 222 ranked player in the 2023 recruiting class. Despite the hype, he had to spend his entire freshman season on the sideline with a knee injury. He was cleared to play just a few days before the Kentucky spring game, where he made one of the biggest plays of the day. Anglin picked off a pass and took it to the house to end the scrimmage.
Anglin is following a similar path to MJ Devonshire, with a few notable differences. Devonshire was a four-star cornerback who spent two seasons in Lexington, notching two pass deflections in four games. Transferring to Pitt made a bit more sense. A native of Aliquippa, PA, his move was a return home, one that worked out well for the cornerback.

Devonshire played significant snaps right away, helping Pitt win the 2021 ACC Championship. He opened the following season by recording a go-ahead pick six in the final minutes of a win over West Virginia in The Backyard Brawl. He logged eight interceptions over three seasons and on Saturday Devonshire was selected in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders.
