Evan McPherson has a strong hold on the starting kicking job in Cincinnati, but former Kentucky kicker Matt Ruffolo still stopped by Paul Brown–I mean Paycor–Stadium to show off his right leg to the Bengals. He was spotted kicking field goals at a pre-draft workout with the Bengals early Tuesday morning.

“Great day with the Bengals,” Ruffolo tweeted.

Having grown up an hour north of Cincinnati in Centerville, Ohio… a great day indeed.

Ruffolo also kicked for the many NFL franchises in attendance at UK’s Pro Day.

Last month, the six-year Kentucky Wildcat received his Howard Schnellenberger Award for kicking a career-high four field goals and two extra points in Kentucky’s win over Louisville in last season’s Governor’s Cup, in which Ruffolo was named the game’s MVP and Schnellenberger Award winner.

He is also one of four Kentucky Wildcats named to the 2023 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.
