Just one day after 2022 five-star point guard Skyy Clark made his announcement to attend the University of Kentucky, four-star prospect out of the class of 2021 Bryce Hopkins tweeted out on Friday afternoon that he will make his college choice this coming Monday at 7:30 p.m. EST. https://twitter.com/BryceHopkins/status/1319786817844056064 Hopkins is a 6-foot-7 power forward ranked as the No. 30 player in his class and the seventh-best power forward. He came in hot on the Kentucky radar after de-committing from Lousiville back in the middle of August. Since then, Hopkins has received several offers from high-profile programs such as Oregon, Notre Dame, and Michigan, along with the 'Cats. “Kentucky, man, it’s a great place for him. We went there and felt really good about it,” Hopkins’ father, Clyde, previously told KSR. “They have been consistent ever since the first Zoom call.” Hopkins's father initially told KSR's Jack Pilgrim last week that an announcement would come by this past Tuesday, but another source said that Hopkins' camp is waiting on an announcement video and expect the decision to come "next week". Now we have an official date. The recruiting experts have had Kentucky trending in Hopkins direction ever since he left Lousiville, with all 11 Crystal Ball predictions at 247Sports favoring Kentucky while eight straight FutureCasts landed in favor of the Wildcats over at Rivals. Come on down.
