GAMEDAY: Everything You Need to Prepare for Kentucky-Georgia

Senior Day at Sanford Stadium

The odds are stacked against the Wildcats today.  The Bulldogs are angry 22.5-point favorites after losing the top-ranked spot last week at Auburn.  With a rivalry game next week at Georgia Tech, Kentucky could be a perfect “trap game” opponent, if they weren’t coming off a loss and if it wasn’t their last home game of the season.

There’s not a lot going for Kentucky, but that’s how they like it.

GEEK

SEC Nation is in Town

The SEC Network’s pregame show is setup in Athens near Sanford Stadium.  If you want to get get angry at talking heads for throwing shade at UK, this is the show for you.

The Schedule

  • 12:30 — The KSR Pregame show begins on 630 WLAP
  • 1:15 — The Cat Walk near Gate 5
  • 1:30 — Countdown to Kickoff with Freddie Maggard & Christi Thomas
  • 3:30 — Kickoff on CBS

How to Watch/Listen

Kentucky football has spent most of the season on the SEC Network.  This week the Cats will receive the primetime treatment with CBS’ No. 1 crew featuring Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Allie LaForce on the call.  Hopefully this game looks a little better then UK’s last CBS appearance, a 45-7 loss to Florida.

If you’re stuck on the road and can’t watch, there are multiple ways to listen to Leach and Piecoro.

And then there were 24.  After last night’s Regional Championships, teams are just two wins away from winning a State Title at Kroger Field.  Unfortunately, my beloved DeSales Colts are not one of them.  After talking my trash, it’s time to enjoy a slice of humble pie for breakfast.
