Georgia Amoore selected to Kelsey Plum's Dawg Class for third consecutive year

There’s a lot ways you could choose to describe Georgia Amoore.
She’s a two-time AP All American, ACC Tournament MVP, SEC Newcomer of the Year, three-time all-conference. You could also talk about Amoore in simple words. Words like fast, undersized, resilient, elusive, shifty, a leader, a star, but how about… a dawg?
On Wednesday, Kelsey Plum, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft and three-time WNBA All Star, released who would be in the 2025 Dawg Class, her three-day skills camp that is exclusive to some of the top guards in women’s basketball. Who made the cut, you may ask?
Well, Georgia Amoore of course.
The 5-foot-6 point guard was one of 12 players selected to the Dawg Class. Mikayla Blakes (Vanderbilt) and Tessa Johnson (South Carolina) join her from the SEC. The only program with multiple players in the 2025 Dawg Class is UConn (KK Arnold and Azzi Fudd).
Zoe Brooks (NC State), Jaloni Cambridge (Ohio State), Kayleigh Heckel (was at USC, currently in the transfer portal), Ashlon Jackson (Duke), Shyanne Sellers (Maryland), Syla Swords (Michigan) and Harmoni Turner (Harvard) round out the group.

The 2025 Dawg Class, which is sponsored by Under Armour, will take place from April 18-20. Amoore is the only player to have been selected to participate in each annual Dawg Class since it started up in 2023.
