The praise for Georgia Amoore continues.

The 5-foot-6 point guard was voted in the Preseason All-SEC First Team by coaches on Thursday. She joins Sarah Ashlee Barker (Alabama), Flau’Jae Johnson (LSU), Aneesah Morrow (LSU), Madison Scott (Ole Miss), Raegan Beers (Oklahoma), Te-Hina Paopao (South Carolina) and Madison Booker (Texas) on the First Team.

On the Second Team, there’s Aaliyah Nye (Alabama), Mikaylah Williams (LSU), Jerkaila Jordan (Mississippi State), Skylar Vann (Oklahoma), MiLaysia Fulwiley (South Carolina), Rori Harmon (Texas) and Aicha Coulibaly (Texas A&M).

At Virginia Tech, Amoore was selected to the All-ACC First Team twice. She captained the Hokies to their first ACC Tournament Championship in 2023 as well as their first ACC Regular Season Championship last season. Amoore also led Virginia Tech to a Final Four appearance in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
