Georgia Amoore selected to Player of the Year, Point Guard of the Year Watch Lists

Kentucky got one of the best point guards and overall players in the country this offseason in Georgia Amoore. Heading into what will be her lone season as a ‘Cat, Amoore was selected to the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Women’s College Player of the Year Watch List and the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Watch List.
Fifty total players were selected to the Player of the Year Watch List, while just 20 made the cut for the Point Guard of the Year Watch List.
Last season, Amoore was one of five players to be a named a finalist for the Point Guard of the Year Award. However, Iowa’s Caitlin Clark would ultimately win the award.

Amoore has tabbed numerous honors throughout her career, and she has the potential to add these two accolades to her already impressive resume.
