This morning Doug Gottlieb joined The Dan Patrick Show to discuss his future. Gottlieb said he interviewed for the head coaching job yesterday at his alma mater, Oklahoma State, (he was not offered the job) but his comments on another coaching gig are much more intriguing.
Patrick asked Gottlieb who's the most likely to end up coaching their alma mater: Gottlieb to Oklahoma State, Patrick Ewing to Georgetown or Steve Alford to Indiana.
"I've been told the Steve Alford thing is done. I would say that's the most likely," Gottlieb said.

"Done deal" statements on the day of NCAA Tournament games usually don't work out well for that team, just ask Rex Chapman.
