Friday night Manual and Male High School will face off on the gridiron for the 126th(!) time in The Old Rivalry. To commemorate the occasion, the Great American Rivalry Series will broadcast the game live on Facebook and right here on Kentucky Sports Radio.

For Kentucky fans, it’s an opportunity to see a future Wildcat in action. Male wide receiver Izayah Cummings played hero ball in the Bulldogs’ first big game of the season by scoring the game-winning touchdown to knock off top-ranked Trinity in overtime.

Male enters the matchup undefeated, ranked No. 15 in the country by USA Today. They’ll take on an 8-1 Manual team at historic Manual Stadium.

The two teams first met in 1893, back when touchdowns were worth four points and field goals were worth two. Male, known then simply as ‘High School,’ won that first game 14-12. They lead the overall series 86-45-6. The Bulldogs have won six straight, including last year’s 48-0 victory.

Will Male once again take home the barrel, or will Manual pull off the upset? Tune in tonight to find out.
