In case you need a refresher on this whole scandal, last month, multiple outlets reported Marshall physically and verbally abused his players and staff, punching some in the head and demeaning others with ethnic slurs. The Athletic first broke the news that Wichita State is investigating the claims, and Jeff Goodman released his own detailed report, which was compiled over six months and includes interviews with 36 former and current members of the Shockers basketball program. In his response, Marshall didn’t even deny the reported incidents took place, instead admitting his coaching style “isn’t for everyone.”
Despite the allegations and investigation, Marshall is still coaching the Shockers, who resumed practice this past weekend after a temporary COVID shutdown. Odds he’s still coaching when the season tips off on November 25?
