We’re halfway through the annual Blue-White Game at Northern Kentucky University’s Truist Arena. With 20 minutes down and 20 minutes to go, the Blue Team holds a commanding 54-41 lead over the White Team.

Freshman point guard Rob Dillingham has been the standout so far. The former five-star lit up the box score for the Blue Team, dropping 24 points on 9-15 shooting (2-5 3PT) to go along with three rebounds and four assists, including a converted four-point play from the corner. He was aided by teammate Adou Thiero, who shook off a recent ankle injury he suffered at Pro Day to add 13 points and six rebounds. The sophomore wing connected on five of his six shot attempts and even canned a pair of three-pointers.

For the White Team, freshman guard DJ Wagner leads the way with 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Not far behind him are veterans Antonio Reeves (11 points) and Tre Mitchell (eight points) along with freshman wing Justin Edwards (eight points). Mitchell also has nine rebounds while Edwards has hauled in five.

As a whole, the Blue Team is shooting the lights out, having connected on over 56 percent of their overall attempts and half of their three-pointers (7-14). They also have 12 assists compared to the White Team’s six. Meanwhile, the White Team is shooting 41 percent overall and has pulled down 23 rebounds compared to the Blue Team’s 17.

Kentucky is down all three of its seven-footers tonight, as Aaron Bradshaw and Ugonna Onyenso remain sidelined with foot injuries. Fellow seven-footer Zvonimir Ivisic was ruled out by head coach John Calipari in the lead-up to the scrimmage. With only three days of practice under his belt so far after arriving in the United States last week, Ivisic is being held out for precautionary reasons.

The second half is coming up shortly. You can watch the second half live on the SEC Network+.
